If you have not visited the Applecross peninsula before you will like most visitors be captivated by its landscape, The Gaelic name for the area of Applecross is 'a Chomraich' which means 'The Sanctuary' and the peace and the tranquility this area offers makes us want to return again and again. You can 'listen to the silence'. The village of Applecross is just 4 miles from Tigh-A-Chreagan and a meal at the award winning Applecross Inn is definitely recommended, seafood being a speciality.

Hawthorndene has uninterrupted view over Loch Carron. It is a comfortable and well equipped detached cottage on the sea shore. Ideal village location, within walking distance of all amenities. Hawthorndene sleeps 4 adults and 1 child in one double room, one twin room and a small single room. The cottage was re-furbished in 2009, including a new kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer etc. The lounge and dining rooms both have wood burning stoves but there is also an efficient electric heating system included in the price. Sky Tv and Wifi are available.

Sleeps 4 comfortably. Good eating places locally. Ideally placed, and a perfect cottage for a walking holiday.

Waterside has two self-catering cottages set amongst the spectacular scenery of Wester Ross.
Situated on the shores of Loch Ewe, Heron, sleeping 5, and Otter, sleeping 4 provide a peaceful base to relax. Both cottages are comprehensively equipped. Prices include all power, bed linen and towels. Poolewe has a Post Office/general store, coffee shop/gallery, swimming pool and Inverewe gardens. Kinloch Damph Lodge nestles among some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. The property makes an ideal retreat and a great base to explore the surrounding area.
